They are Intel Xeon L5630 CPU’s in a dual CPU configuration with 16GB’s of RAM and 1TB hard drives as the base configuration. Hosting And Designs chose this particular CPU since they are low in power consumption (40 watts per CPU) and still offer considerable processing power for a variety of uses on a dedicated server ranging from database processing, web hosting, backups and game servers.

The Intel Xeon L5630 has 4 cores, 8 threads, 12MB of Smart Cache and a clock speed of 2.13Ghz with a Max Turbo Frequency of up to 2.4Ghz.
